Smoky quartz with fluorite cluster and possible pseudomorph

Hexagonal bands of gray and purple fluorite, likely replacing quartz, perches on top a smoky quartz crystal. Pseudomorph means "false form" and in this specimen the fluorite core has likely replaced and taken on the shape of quartz.
Fluorite's a halide mineral consisting of Fluorine and Calcium atoms. It's more delicate than it's quartz companion, with a hardness of 4. But this baby was gently exhumed from the rockies by hand, carried down and cleaned by Carl Holzer, life-long Colorado digger.
Light pouring in through the transparent fluorite appears like the sun shining through a clear stream. Fluorite, from latin means "to flow". You can use this specimen to remind you of the healing stream of life flowing through you. You always have access to the flow of divine healing.
